About
Plaid Mtn. is the base camp for freelance illustrator and designer, Matthew Loren Carlson. Matt currently resides in Omaha, Nebraska, where he was born and raised. Matt has worked with clients such as Clif Bar, Adobe, Uber, Progressive, and Men's Health Magazine, among others. In recent years, he has established ongoing partnerships with various tech companies, aiding them in defining, constructing, and upholding a consistent illustration style for both product and marketing. Matt has been freelancing full-time since 2016 and is passionate about all things art and design. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
